ACEC New Mexico Aspiring Principals Program (APP)

The Aspiring Principals Program (APP) is designed to prepare the next generation of leaders within ACEC New Mexico member firms. This multi-session program provides emerging leaders with practical insight into the business, leadership, and strategic responsibilities involved in running a successful engineering firm.

Through a combination of expert-led sessions, industry panels, and peer networking, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how engineering firms operate beyond project delivery — from financial performance and risk management to business development and leadership.

• Government Affairs and Industry Advocacy
• Business Development and Market Strategy
• Firm Management and Operations
• Leadership Lessons from Industry Executives
• Professional Presence and Executive Skills
• Risk Management and Project Oversight

Participants will also engage in networking dinners, peer discussions, and leadership conversations with experienced firm principals and industry experts.

Who Should Attend

The APP Program is designed for emerging leaders within ACEC NM member firms, including:

• Project Managers and Senior Engineers
• Professionals being considered for firm ownership or partnership

All sessions will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Registration

Program Fee: $1,195 per participant
Includes program sessions, meals, networking events, and materials.
