Mission

Our mission is to foster collaboration and open communication between ACEC-NM and New Mexico’s Central Metro Area public agencies, including Bernalillo County, City of Albuquerque, City of Rio Rancho and the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA), serving as a trusted bridge to support transparent, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. We are committed to establishing consistent standards, resolving challenges, and driving innovation that strengthens communities, enhances quality of life, and promotes responsible growth.

To foster lasting partnerships between ACEC-NM and NM’s Central Metro Area public agencies, built on trust, collaboration, and shared purpose, while driving innovation, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that strengthen communities and support responsible growth.

Purpose

  • Facilitate Communication: Serve as a bridge between ACEC-NM and NM’s Central Metro Area public agencies to promote open dialogue, collaboration, and mutual understanding.
  • Support Effective Projects: Encourage transparency and efficiency in planning, design, and delivery of public infrastructure projects.
  • Promote Standards & Best Practices: Develop and share consistent guidelines, expectations, and practices that benefit agencies and industry partners.
  • Problem-Solve Collaboratively: Provide a forum for addressing challenges, resolving conflicts, and streamlining processes.
  • Encourage Innovation & Sustainability: Support forward-thinking solutions that enhance community resilience, sustainability, and long-term growth.
  • Strengthen Community Impact: Ensure projects ultimately improve quality of life for residents and reflect community needs.

Objectives
